I have been with Juniata Dental for approximately 15 years and a loyal Dr. Guisbert patient. I have never had any issues and his work has held up very well throughout the years.

There was a period of time where I, unfortunately, did not keep up with routine cleanings, due to not having dental insurance. Even with all the right home behaviors, I have soft teeth and things happen.

I began having complications and needed to be seen. When I heard of Dr. Guisbert's retirement, I panicked. Do I stay and try the new dentist or do I look for another one? I struggle with change in the medical field because it can often take several years to know and trust a new doctor. After much debate and research, I decided to see Dr. Guisbert's replacement, Dr. Pannebaker.

Dr. Pannebaker's honesty immediately earned my trust. He was upfront from the beginning, laid out all of my options, and left the ball in my court to decide what was best for me. I decided to proceed with having three root canals. Yes, you read that right - three. His bedside manners are untouchable. He thoroughly explains the process and addresses any questions or concerns. Throughout the procedure, he is quick to tell you exactly what he is doing, what steps are next, and how much longer he will be.

Dr. Pannebaker not only saved my smile, he saved my continued trust in Juniata Dental Center.

I absolutely dread this place. I had gone here for years as a child until an adult. Had always hated it. It was coved by my fathers insurance so as a kid I was stuck. The old Denist there is such a jerk! He was very rude and rough every time. I hate that guy. I broke a tooth when I was young. It's one of my front teeth and he has fixed it for me a couple times. Every time it looks awful. He has left it all lop-sided and uneven. One time I mentioned it to him and he got very mad and told the nurses he needed to fix it because "I care more about vanity than his work" It looked awful and it's my front tooth. This time I was an adult and paying out of pocket. I am still upset about that. Now from that botched up job he did I am starting to get a cavity in my front tooth. Hate him! I have never had a good experience here. Haven't been now for almost 3 years. My mother had gone there for a long time as well. She has since seen a new Denist he was horrified at the "work" that was done to her teeth" it cost he a lot of money to undo the mess. They always left me waiting in the rooms to long like I said the Denist was a jerk and not personable at all. The ladies that do the cleanings were nice but during a cleaning they would talk about their personal business the whole time and ask a million questions that you cannot answere because their hands are in ur mouth.

They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed. I didn't wait long at all. My appointment started on time, and the wait was much shorter than other offices I have been to. It's really important to me to have a comfortable chair to sit in during my dental procedure, and their chairs were very comfortable. It was nice to be able to be comfortable during my entire procedure. I'm very confident that my health is their top priority, and I know they would never recommend any sort of dental procedure that I didn't need. I trust them completely. I'm always amazed at how considerate and concerned they are for my well-being. Their advice is always wonderful and completely unbiased. I am very disappointed in their front office staff. They are unprofessional .ot carrying. They don't and will tell you they don't have time to check. into your insurance. If they would like to get paid I think they should check into the insurance info. I have gone their since I have been 3 yo but today is my last visit. My dental claim has gotten Bill ex under my ex husbands wife's plan?? not one time but twice?? how does this happen?? carelessness! I am hoping that they don't treat all their outs this way. when you pick the phone up u need to b kind carrying and respect ful.

This was a horrible experience. The dentist was very mean to my child and made him cry hysterically after being so very rough with him. I will never go back here again.
