Dr. Bettis did NOT wear gloves and did nothing but poke at my tooth and take 5 x-rays of the same tooth. The tooth is broken pretty deep and I am now experiencing pain. I'm worried that his lack of gloves has caused an infection and will be pursuing a lawsuit.

No, no one seemed to notice I was there

Not really. I usually have to remind them.

No, they definitely favor certain clients
Did you experience any unnecessary pain while your teeth were cleaned?
Yes! It was absolutely excruciating

They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy anywhere else. I'm usually somewhat sensitive to the cold, so I was a little worried that their office would be too cold, but it was fine. I was very comfortable the entire time. They always go above and beyond to make sure I understand every single detail about my dental procedures. I'm always able to get all my questions answered, and I'm never nervous about starting a procedure.

Absolutely not, I don't even think they brushed their teeth

Yes, they offered me anesthetic when appropriate

I felt the doctor should have communicated what it was he was doing more. No communication was offered until I specifically requested explanations. I am not very comfortable with this dentist.

They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have. They are an absolute expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care. I will definitely refer my friends and family here. They were great and I think more people should know about them. They gave me advice about what I could do at home to prevent tooth decay, and it's really helped. They are very knowledgeable.

I was abandoned by Dr. Bettis in the middle of a root canal. I had to go to the emergency room on a sunday nite, as I had contacted Dr. Bettis's office the previous thursday, and told them the temporary filling had fallen out, and I needed to get into see Dr. Bettis.

Janet, his receptionist, told me they could not fit me in to see Dr. Bettis.

On friday, I ended up with the abscess coming back full force! I had to go to the emergency room on sunday night to get antibiotics, as my entire right side of my head & face were very swollen.

I called Dr. Bettis's office on monday at 8am, and was told again, after I explained the pain I was in, that I felt abandoned by Dr. Bettis, and still was refused service.

Totally disgusted with Dr. Bettis & his receptionist!

Do not go to this dentist. He is 67 years old, and needs to retire!
