To keep a long story short, this dentist led me to believe that I had cavities galore and that I needed extensive work done. I thought it was odd that I was not experiencing any pain, but it had been a couple of years since I had been to a dentist and I was young (just out of college) and trusted what he told me. He was initially going to do partial caps on two of my teeth, but told me they were so bad, he had to do full caps. I paid over a $1,300 out of pocket, after my insurance paid. I went to a different dentist next, expecting to need more dental work - fillings and caps - and surprise, surprise, I did not have a single cavity and still to this day have not! This dentist should not be allowed to practice! Every time my caps bother me, it makes me so angry, as I obviously did not need them in the first place.

All the time, and they usually don't notify me until right before my scheduled appointment

Yes, I had to wait forever.

Every time I asked the staff a question, they referred me to someone else

Dirk Thomas is arrogant and is only after his patients money.They don't treat their clients equally at all, and only make time for their favorite clients. If they didn't like me, they didn't make time for me. They almost always have a promotion or special going on. Whether its a complimentary consultation for new clients or a percent-off a certain service, I always get some sort of discount. My appointments always get canceled last minute here. It is really frustrating and really unprofessional in my opinion. I had to wait forever after I arrived for my appointment. They were running really behind and I was disappointed because it threw off the rest of my day.
