VERY disappointing. Just started with a routine to take care f multiple issues when the Dentist quit. Now waiting to see if my insurance approves the new dentist.. over a month wait now. Prior dentist was very brusque and uncommunicative and seemed to dislike his work and having to deal with people. All disappointing.

They currently have no dental hygienist (!?), but didn't call to cancel my cleaning appointment and now I'll have to come back whenever they get their act together and hire one. The new dentist took unnecessary X-rays (I'd just had a full set 6 months before), and seemed more interested in sounding like an expert than actually learning about me and my teeth during my brief exam. If I had any other local option that would take my insurance, I'd change in a heartbeat.

Monarch always has good Dental tech assistants who do the cleanings. No complaint there. But i am tired of the rotating dentists...some of them are not friendly at all. My last visit, the dentist barely friendly, did not ask if I had any questions and was more interested in rushing to the next appt, than in my care. I left with questions about my teeth and the feeling that I don't want to see this dentist again. I will be changing providers now. Also- the dentist was very rude to his assistant, which also made me uncomfortable.

They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. I found the office, but only because I had simple, very clear directions. I wish it had been easier to locate.
A dismal unprofessional experience. As an MD, I must say this place should be shut down. I spent 45 minutes there only to have my original questions answered differently an care denied. The office was empty but I still had to wait 45 minutes listening to a cheap radio system.

On two separate occasions this office scheduled a cleaning 6 months in advance and give me NO call as a reminder, then they send me a broken appointment charge of 30 dollars. When I try to call and discuss the situation with them, nobody answers, so I leave a message. Then they NEVER return the call...but i do get a letter in the mail that reads "a gentle reminder....perhaps you forgot. We all do at times. Our records indicate there is a balane due." thanks for the gentle reminder...maybe you could try the same thing for appointments scheduled 6 months in advance? I get it, i'm an adult and should be able yo keep track of my own appointments, but every other dentist/doctor I have been to gives a reminder call. Hell, my hair salon calls to remind me of my appointments even if I scheduled it two days prior! It seems like their business plan is to get as many broken appointment charges as possible.

When i did make it to an appointment, the dental assistants were nice, but the dentist himself was pretty rude, belittling a genuine concern I had. The dentist also left home early one day and canceled all his afternoon appointments, inlcuding mine. Guess what? I didn't get a call about that either.

Awful. Will not be returning.

The guy who takes care of the payment is really nice and accommodating, The girl that cleaned my teeth is very good and gentle and did an excellent job.

They usually are judgmental, even towards kids. I havent gone to the dentist because of that very reason. Sorry I don't have perfect teeth like you...

Did you spend a lot of time in the waiting room at this provider's office?
The wait wasn't terrible, but it wasn't the best
Was this provider sympathetic to your situation?
Kind of, but I they could have been more understanding
Was there annoying music playing while you waited or during your visit?
Yes, but it didn't bother me much
Did your gums bleed excessively after your appointment?
No, they didn't bleed excessively

Their office was well organized and clean. I could tell they took a lot of time making sure it was presentable. I didn't wait long at all. My appointment started on time, and the wait was much shorter than other offices I have been to. They always take the time to listen to me. I know they really care about me and what I have to say. The restrooms at this provider's office were clean and well-maintained. You could tell that they cleaned them regularly. Not only do my appointments never get canceled last minute, they take time out of their day to send me a reminder so I don't forget. They are extremely reliable.
