I was extremely impressed with the quality of work and pain management techniques used during my root canal procedure. Dr. Loo was friendly and professional. His office was well lit, decorated and organized. Dr Loo communicated what he was doing and a what degree of the procedure was completed. I was very impressed by the entire atmosphere as well as the patient level of care. Thank you Dr. Loo.

They didn't show any sort of attention to detail, which I think is very important. I was afraid they were going to miss or forget something important. I could tell that they took pride in their office's appearance. It was very well organized and well taken care of. I was confident that they were using the latest treatment methods. I was in a lot of pain during my visit that I feel could have definitely been avoided if they had been more careful. I was given a brief greeting when I walked through the door, but no one made any sort of effort to help me. I felt ignored. I am a full time editor and was referred to Dr. Loo by my supervisor's dentist. My supervisor as well as her dentist mentioned that he would work with my insurance in order to perform 2 root canals.

From the moment I walked in there, Dr. Loo's face showed great discomfort. He refused to work with me on any pricing, despite my worsened condition which would soon require me to remove the tooth. The moment they found out that my insurance would not cover it, Dr. Loo as well as his employees were very rude. They showed discontent to answer my questions. When I told Dr. Loo that I am in a bad financial situation and would call the insurance company to see what they would pay in order to work something out with him, he again made a very discontent face and, thinking that I am an uneducated poor person, tried to find B* words to basically say, "NO, this is my price; and, if you cannot afford it, then that is too damn bad." I asked him, can we work something out, I am in great pain and do not want to lose my tooth, s by the time I schedule another appointment, I would surely lose 1 tooth. He answered, "that is my price. the fee is customary." I would NOT recommend this unprofessional money hungry pathetic excuse for a dr to anyone, especially if you are a minority and the insurance company does not cover the entire procedure, which is btw.. very overpriced.

Furthermore, I asked him if he would please allow me to buy the exrays of my 2 teeth for my purposes. Most dentists will give you the ex-rays; this guy refused and said he would mail them to me, WHICH he did not. He then added, do not go to a cheap dentist, you need to come back here if you want them done right.

On top of that, he wanted to charge me over 1000$ JUST for the crown. I have friends that work in a lab. the crown itself, does NOT cost nearly as much. The installation, may, but the crown itself does not.

Furthermore, after speaking to them upfront about my situation, he insisted on a visiting fee of $85 for 1 minute of speaking with me.
