Rarely do I offer a review - my experience in this case necessitated that I do so. Easily the most unprofessional dentist office I have visited and at which I had dental work done. Would have given a zero star rating, but had to offer a 1 star rating to be able to provide this review.

Note that this dentist (apparently) owns and offers training to become a dental hygienist. A hygienist graduate from this hygienist training was unable (after several attempts) to take a basic tooth imprint and eventually gave up trying. I could have easily done a better job than this hygienist in making a tooth imprint. The tooth imprint that was eventually done was very mediocre (at best) and my replacement crown fits worse than the crown that was replaced. I now have issues with this tooth and will need to have additional work done with this tooth. Lesson learned.

I could write a treatise on how bad my experience was with this dental office. Basic cleanliness is also an issue.

Horrible experience. Wrong tooth was filled and dentist lied about it when I confronted her about it. Oral surgeon confirmed there was no way she filled the tooth she said she did, still has cavity in it! No numbing medication given, had to stop her and ask for it after she started drilling. Very unsanitary, glasses put on my face were covered with someone else's dna. Would never go back and wouldn't suggest to anybody.

Highly recommended.Very satisfactory service,wonderful friendly staff and a very caring and patient Dr.Yen Nguyen.Been with them for years and I have nothing to complain about.Keep up the good work.

The staff and Dr. Nguyen are all wonderful. They are like family to us! They have made my children feel very comfortable and every dentist appointment has left us with a smile on our face! So thanks Salem dental for taking such good care of us.

I have been going to this dentist for three years and am very pleased with the care I have received. The staff is friendly and knowledgable and the dentist is very personable and caring. I am extremely pleased with my dental care and highly recommend this practice.

Review of Yen T. Nguyen DMD, PLLC
I always get an appointment quickly. I've never have to wait too long. I really appreciated that they listen to my concerns. All of the staff and Dentist always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. They always have an immediate answer for me when I have questions. They never try to get me to make an appointment unless I really need one. They take the time to explain in detail plenty of techniques I could practice at home to prevent cavities and tooth decay.

I know that they have a lot of clients here so I understand that they may not remember my name every time. They always try to make the effort and for this I am grateful. Their dental equipment is clean; I can tell they sanitize it. If I were in some kind of an emergency I'd go back. Otherwise, I'm going to look for something better. I wish they gave me good advice, but most of the time they only give me advice that would benefit them. Learn of their standard operating procedures. Otherwise, you may find that they confide more in your children, if applicable, than you. I felt like my needs were mostly met, but they didn't make any extra effort. Being informed should be a priority, not an option!
