Had a great appointment today and can't wait for my next appointment. Great staff, building and 2 dentist. All were very caring and kind to me and my wife. Would give them 10 stars if I could.

My significant other went to Rivers Edge Dental and paid up front as required. Dr. Curries son called my significant other after he came home said that his insurance paid the bill and he could come back to the office to pick up the money that was owed back to him which he did. The office paid him back by check! They then started billing him saying they made a mistake and his insurance actually didn't pay. When they sent the bill to my significant other they kept sending it to him under my name -- I kept calling telling them that I was not responsible for my significant others bill and I wanted my name off his bill. They told me my name was on his bill because they had grouped us as a family -- I told them I didn't care how they grouped us I wanted my name off his bill because I wasn't in anyway responsible for it. They told me they took my name off it and the next bill sent didn't have my name on it. Today I go to the mail box and what do I find but a collection notice from CBS (a collection office) Rivers Edge Dental sent me to collections for a bill that doesn't even belong to me. REALLY! Why would I be responsible for a dental bill that doesn't belong to me? Is this the way they make their money? Billing people for other people's dental work -- nice scam job!

Would give 0 stars if I could. I have already warned everyone I know not to go here. See a different dentist unless you want a horrible experience.

This office may look nice on the outside, but they are very uprofessional. They told me that they would mail me paperwork so I would be ready to go when I came to my appointment. The did not mail it so I came in 15 minutes early to do it. There was no staff around at all. There were no signs up or any bell to ring. I guess that the entire staff takes lunch at the same time and they leave the office open. Very unprofessional.

The Dr. was ok. He must have rushed because the Hygentist caught a small cavity that he missed. So he either rushed or just isn't that good.

When I made the apointment it was for my 6 month check up and cleaning. I get there and they tell me that they don't do the cleaning the same day. I specifically told them what I wanted done. I never heard of a DDS not doing a cleaning at your 6 month check up.

Also, I had to ask for toothpase when I left the office. You normally get a toothbrush, floss and toothpaste. I just got a brush. How cheap is that. I read bad reviews about this dds before I came and was a bit skeptic. Now, I know why I should have stayed away.

They are terrible!!

Although the staff and doctor were at first personable, the doctor's tone was defensive when I had an issue with the appearance of my crown. There is a black line visible above it, looking like rot. I have had numerous crowns, and never experienced this. I mentioned it the same day and called twice. I was told my gums would move down, and after they did not after several weeks, I was told it was something wrong with my gums (which were never inflamed or sore). I went in to have it checked and was informed that it would cost another $200 for lab fees to fix. When I expressed that I had come here because of cost and use of insurance, I was told that was irrelevant. I felt irrelevant as a patient. I was then told he could not be held responsible for my gums and he had only cleared $22 dollars an hour when it cost $500 an hour to run his office. (He is speaking to a teacher in a class C school!) I even received a break down in a print out. My importance as a patient was his profit alone. He felt the function of the crown was enough, not the appearance or art of it. Dentistry is more than function; it is art. What he would have lost in this one problem or fix for customer satisfaction would have come back to him through appointments with my husband, children, and friends. I am sure he is a good person, but has forgotten that what he does deals with a person's appearance, which can affect them deeply. Patients are so much more than dollar signs. I have never had such a conflict with a dentist.
