Very Disappointed: The Fairview Clinic in Eden Prairie has lost a lot of doctors this year. Just before my last appointment with my primary doctor I received a call telling me that he had also left Fairview unexpectedly. They told me to see Dr David Johnson instead. The first appointment seemed to be going well until he suddenly said that we were out of time. He promptly got up and walked out on me. He left me sitting there in pain without my cortisone shots. I didn’t get my blood test results reviewed and other issues addressed either. As he left he told me to make a follow-up appointment if I wanted those other things. Well, he didn’t have any openings in his schedule for 16 days out! When I got home I had to call around and make an appointment with a non-Fairview doctor in order to get the shots for my pain. When I saw him again 16 days later we discussed the open issues and I complained about his walking out on me. His point of view was “that’s just the way it is” and “I need to get home to my wife on time”. Today I received a letter from Dr Johnson telling me to find a different doctor. In my opinion he has the worst attitude towards patients of any doctor I have ever seen and I have to give him the lowest possible rating for that. As to his expertise, I can only point out that after the 1st appointment he made a serious error when he typed my blood pressure prescription into the computer. He prescribed 2.5mg instead of necessary 7.5mg. If I had not caught his error, and had used 2.5mg instead of 7.5mg, my blood pressure would have gone way up again.

Not only were they able to provide everything they promised me, they went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. They had quite a few interesting magazines, which made my time in the waiting room go by much faster. They do such a great job of never overbooking appointments, even though they are extremely popular. I know for a fact that they have lots of business, but I've never had to wait a long time in a crowded waiting room like other places I've been too.
