I recently visited Milaca Dental for filling a cracked molar (lost a whole corner). When I called to schedule the appointment, Dr. Nick happened to answer the phone and he went right ahead and scheduled my appointment! When I arrived, Jody at reception asked me how my kids were doing and we had a nice conversation. I was nervous about the procedure, but Dr. Nick answered my questions and Jess provided ample time for the gas and numbing agent to take effect before they applied the Novocaine shot and got started. The procedure maybe took 40 minutes from start to recovery, and I was pretty numb half of the evening on one side, but it was worth avoiding the pain. Also, my filling looks and feels like a real tooth and I don't feel that ugly gap anymore. They got me an earlier estimate for a cap or a filling from my insurance, but my choice for a filling was honored and I'm so happy with it. The bite is good, which tells me that Dr. Nick's extra time to file and polish the filling made a great difference. I'm very pleased and feel like my mouth is complete again!

Since Skip sold his practice it appears that the dental assistant is coming close to practicing medicine by doing the cancer check, advisement of current conditions and the need for future dental procedures, making determination for the need of xrays BEFORE the dentist even looks at the patient. It gives the appearance of an effort to maximize revenues and extremely limited face to face discussions with the dentist.

Absolutely! They aren't arrogant at all and are more than willing to pursue advice when necessary

Definitely! They spent extra time to make sure they didn't miss anything

Definitely! They paused every few minutes to make sure I was comfortable

Absolutely, I was able to rinse every few minutes

Yes, I'm going tell everyone about them. I absolutely love this place!

No, They definitely believe in quality over quantity and allow more than enough time in between appointments
