Both of them delivered my twins and they did my tubal ligation. Very caring and let me know everything they were doing. It was nice to have two drs work on me that really are pationate about what they do.

I had excellent experiences w/ both Dr Carolyn & her husband Tim. They delivered all of my 6 children. I had two high risk pregnancies (two sets of twins) and two "normal" pregnancies. They did everything possible to ensure that ALL of my children were born healthy. I started to dialate with my first set of twins when I was only 6 months along and because of the care and treatments from them (Drs Hoekstra) I was able to carry them to full term. I never once felt that they didn't care about me or my unborn children. I also had Medicaid as my insurance so I really don't see why that would make my treatment any less top notch than some one with private insurance...

Questioned her and her husband about their bedside manner seemed bias witnessed different treatment with other patients. Treated me and like I was self pay or had Medicaid and spoke condescending tone despite me being well educated and very well insured. Do not entrust or give the Hoekstras' the privilege to be apart of your precious journey.

They didn't tell me anything about my treatment options, didn't listen to my concerns, and didn't even bother to explain side effects to medications. She could have cared less about my concerns about medication interactions. I left feeling very confused and frustrated. I didn't feel like she cared at all about my concerns. I felt very rushed. They barely spent two minutes with me and almost completely ignored me, acted as if it was my fault the office staff told me the wrong date and time. I was very very nervous about going to an OB/GYN for the first time, one of the staff was really nice. I just asked to speak with the doctor before I undressed and she acted as if this was a total inconvenience. Will never go back.
