I went to Dr. Hafener more than once, and was not satisfied with the way she handled my case of LS. First of all, I feel that Dr. Hafener lacks compassion and true empathy for way this disease affects a person. She recommended a medication that worked even less effectively than the one that my gynecologist prescribed, and she seemed intent on pushing my husband and me into sex therapy consultation with a colleague in the office which neither of us, for varied reasons, felt would benefit our situation. That suggestion seemed to be just additional $$, and completely unrealistic in light of the degree of the pain and extent of my disease at that time, so we found the appointments a total waste of time and money. Frankly, I was very disappointed that someone who was so highly recommended on the Internet would be such a cold individuaI.

Fortunately, I accidentally discovered that over-the-counter probiotics arrested the rapid progression of the disease--something that the doctor apparently was not able to do, so at least there seems to be a happy ending! My OBG/GYN was surprised yesterday when he saw the change that the probiotics have made over the last year. They have largely halted the disease (except after I have to take antibiotics, which always causes a flare-up).

If I had stayed with Dr. Hafener's advice, I am sure that my LS would be far worse than it is!

Her name is what she has been for me " Hope". I suffer from hidradentis suppervita, and that is something that most of the doctors still dont know how to diagnose. When i went to her I finally got my answers and ways to help me. I am so thankful I found her.
Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. The office was easy enough to find. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen.
