I would give this doctor and the office a minus rating if that would be possible. I though that the receptionist was rude until I spoke to the doctor. When he found out that we don't want a flue shot, he stormed out of the office and shut the door before my face. I needed to ask him several questions about my child, but he refused to talk to me!!! I am mom of three and we have been seeing Dr. Stavitsky for the more than 6 years. Dr Stavitsky is incredibly knowledgeable, competent and an excellent diagnostician. He cares about my children, listen, respond to our needs, and available when we need him. I am very comfortable with his general practice philosophy and position on breastfeeding, vaccination, discipline, child emotional development, using prescribed and over the counter medications, etc., and found what his recommendations are always appropriates. Dr. Stavitsky is a doctor, who examined my newborn after delivery, got my older kids through allergies and asthmatic bronchitis, answered my “panic” phone calls during weekends, and counseled the orthopedic surgeon choice to operate my son’s wrist fracture. Last but not least, his assistants are exceptionally friendly and helpful, the office location and hours are very convenient, appointments have been scheduling immediately upon requests, and calls are answering promptly. I feel that our doctor is a long-term partner for our family.

I was happy with Dr. Stavitsky taking care of my 6 children for over 10 years. if you have to take 3 sick kids with a fiver plus 2 younger ones to the overcrowded office, you learn to appreciate house calls. Dr. Stavitsky was really helpful and understanding over all this years, making house call at all hours, sometimes after his work hours. They can make an emergency appointment the same day, or just tell you to come over as soon as you can.
And you do not have sick kids in the same waiting room, what is great at the flu season.
Caring, patient, competent doctor. Definitely will recommend to everyone.

Dr. Stavistky has been our pediatrician for over ten years. He is attentive and caring. Dr. Stavistky is always easy to reach and
is able to see my children when you need his help. He visited my children at the hospital and followed up after appendectomy, pneumonia, etc.
HIs advice and knowledge have been crucial in our daily lives. I would always recommend Dr. Stavitsky to my friends.

My children have been patients of Dr. Igors for 7 years. In that span he has answered my phone calls within 15 minutes, travelled to my home for home visits, opened his office on a Sunday to see us, referred us to speciaslist when he or I felt it was necessary, treats my children with compassion and understanding. His office staff has always been pleasant and helpful - all of my inquires have been answered within a reasonable time. Dr. Igor is on time for his appointments - I believe I have only waite 15 minutes past my scheduled time 2-3 times within the last 7 years. His staff never gives me a problem when I call to schedule or cancel my appointment. The staff always places us in his schedule when it is a sick visit.
Dr. Igor is an excellent physician....

My experience:
The doctor calls to remind of an appointment for my child at 8:15am the next day.

I show up at 8am, and find the office closed and locked.

At 8:35am, with the office closed and locked, I decide the doctor is not going to be in.

The doctor calls and chews out my wife for missing the appointment in a message.

When called on the fact that WE were there and HE wasn't, he doesn't apologize, but just sets up another appointment.

We decide we would rather go to a less abusive doctor, and he holds our childs medical records hostage.

The records issue has still not been resolved.

We will not be returning to this doctor, and I don't suggest you pick him up either.
