Dr. Chavin is great, very professional and thorough. She is very strict about appointments, and being on time, but it's out of respect for her other patients. She is very strong-minded on sun exposure, so if you have an issue with that, be prepared for a lecture.

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. I was very satisfied with my visit. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen.
I have had serious, mysterious health issues (my primary says my middle name is mysterious) Dr. Chavin is a brusque person - but I really LIKE that in a specialist. If she can keep a busy practice with a less than perfect attitude, it tells me that doctors who send patients to her trust her judgement. If I want perfect bedside manner, I will watch a soap opera.
It is important to remember that specialists go through a special kind of hell getting their board certification. You want one who is respected and trusted by other doctors, not one who is nice.

I waited several months to be seen and missed my appointment due to a family member's accident. They would not reschedule me because I missed the appointment. I was going for a follow up for skin cancer.
