This doctor is paid by Workers' Compensation to meet with a patient for about 90 minutes. He is tasked by Workers' Compensation to render his opinion on questions that are designed to disallow benefits. He asks questions to develop a history. He types as he interviews, however, if I remember the interview correctly he misquoted responses. Quotation marks suggest the actual words of the speaker. I believe the quotes included in the report were not accurate. After the interview he pores through every medical record to find information to support the findings Workers' Compensation wishes him to find. He then compiles the report weaving in the "quotes" where he wants and excluding other information shared during the interview. He works in an office in a building that restricts access to his floor. I wondered why that was the case but now I understand. In my opinion, there are much better doctors who are interested in the welfare of the patient. Those doctors do not answer to Workers' Compensation.
