The facility was never understaffed and the wait time was minimal. However, they insisted that I see a psychologist within their practice even though I had a therapist I had been seeing for years. It felt very institutionalized to me. Dr. Narayan was condescending towards me and insulted the doctor that I am currently seeing to treat Lyme Disease. I believe this is because he is an alternative doctor. Also, I brought my husband along with me for a few visits and the doctor ignored him except for saying hello and goodbye. He did this after I stated that I like to bring my husband along to get a better perspective. I've done this in the past with other psychiatrist and it has worked out very well. The only reason I would go back to visit him would be tell him how it feels to be vulnerable and have a doctor attack another doctor who is treating you. And how overwhelming it is when you have numerous medical conditions that he suggests yet one more doctor.
