She was the most rude woman I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. She has no time for you when you are there for help. She has no care in that black heart of hers, but if she can throw a quick script at you, she will just so you will leave. Don't go to her, at any cost. Even the most desperate situations aren't worth the damage she will do.

I have been seeing Dr. Halpern for about 5 years. I have always been pleased with her interaction with me and her willingness to take extra time with me if I need it. She is also very knowledgeable about the different medications used to treat mental illnesses. I have had to change my meds more than a few times and Dr. Halpern has always shown me compassion during the waiting game to see if the meds will work.
A few times, during a crisis, her staff went out of their way to help me schedule an appointment ASAP.
Jeannie and Ken are as nice as they can be. I try to stay away from Barbara because she is often impolite, bordering on rude, and she makes me feel like I'm bothering her. Other than that, I feel blessed to have found her practice.

I always have the best experience every time I have an appointment here. Although I have not had much to complain about, I have noticed that they strongly adhere to the customer is always right policy and if anything goes wrong make every effort to correct the situation. I really admire them for being more than willing to ask for help from other professionals in the field when they don't have an answer to my question. They aren't even slightly arrogant, and I'm confident they always have my best interest at heart. They are one of the most attentive psychiatrists I've ever met. They always remember me and my situation at every appointment, and make an extra effort to make me feel important and respected. I didn't have to wait at all after I arrived for my appointment. They were running right on time, which is a really big deal for me. I was very glad that my appointment went the way it did. They were so much more knowledgeable than I ever expected them to be, and they gave me fantastic advice.

Dr. Halpern was negligient with my care and her office staff was unresponsive. Dr. Halpern does not listen and treats her patients with unveiled contempt, which is ironic considering the field she has chosen. I will never forget the way she treated me, and only wish I had a recording/video of her. It would be viral on YouTube, it was that outrageously inappropriate.

I have never seen a coupon for this provider, nor do they ever have specials or promotions going on. I don't think they like to help people save money. There are times when I've been there, that I feel like they're favoring certain clients. It's not all the time, but I don't appreciate it when it happens. I was shocked when they dismissed my concerns as unimportant and told me I was just overreacting. I knew that my situation needed attention, and I couldn't believe that they wouldn't even look into it. The one thing that I really enjoy about this place is their high level of customer service. Their full attention is always on me and they never take personal calls during my appointment. I've been to other places that answer their phone and it just drives me crazy. Their staff is very friendly and professional.
