I was referred to Dr. Block when I moved to the area 12 years ago. I find him very gentle and knowledgeable. Yes, there is a wait......the patient on the table is their greatest concern, not my *wait*. They told me before my first visit that was the case. I always bring something to do. I would rather have a doctor who focuses on ME than whoever might be in the waiting room. I have never seen him be mean to the reception staff (though I have seen Dr. Goldberg be disrespectful).

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. The office was easy enough to find.

The only problem I have with this office is the wait time. Every appointment I've ever made, I end up being seen at least an hour after my scheduled time. If he wasn't such a good doctor, I would find another one.

I wish I could say the same.... This practice has to be the worst I have ever been to. The Rockville office has very rude staff, the doctors are not very knowledgeable and refer you to a specialist for just about everything. Once I was referred to a specialist for an issue that could have had a drastic affect on my baby's well being, only to get to the specialist's office for him to say.."Why exactly did they send you here, there is absolutely nothing wrong with your blood work." After talking to the doctor about the mistake (error), his response was "we could have made a worst mistake." The level of ignorance amongst professional physicians is ridiculous.... 8 months for this and I am change practices.
