I've never seen a dental office that cares about their patients more than they do. They've never pressured me to get dental procedures not need, and they always have my best child's interest in mind. The dentist and staff were so friendly and accommodating. I have never felt more welcome at a dental appointment! They always make sure to return my phone call as soon as possible. They've never left me waiting. They were so easy to reach in an emergency, they answered my call immediately. It is a relief to know that I can count on them to always be there for me when I need them the most.

We love Dr. Jeff. My kids have absolutely no fear when it's time to go to the dentist. There are so many distractions to keep their minds busy. He always explains exactly what he sees and what he recommends.

A previous comment mentioned his "weird" office policy. All pediatric dentists that I have ever visited refrain from allowing parents in the exam room. The children will put on a show for their parents whereas when alone with the office personnel they have no issues.

Dr. Jeff is awesome!

Dr. Jeff Hiester is a pediatric dentist in Evansville, Indiana. Today my 9-year-old daughter was scheduled to have a couple of teeth extracted. My wife intended to accompany our child in the procedure room. Dr. Hiester was planning to administer laughing gas, so my wife especially wanted to be there alongside our semi-conscious child.

However, Dr. Hiester's staff flatly told my wife that she could not be in the same room. They explained that it was Dr. Hiester's policy to NOT allow parents into the dental rooms during procedures. She was told to wait in the lobby.

Well, this did not sit well with my wife. She asked to speak to Dr. Hiester. He told her that he wanted to "establish a rapport with [our] child" and refused to accommodate her request. My wife became very uncomfortable. Dr. Hiester also told my wife that our daughter "doesn't really want you there" in the room. (What a load of bull). Our child was scared and wanted her mother there.

Given no other choice, my wife and daughter left the office and will never return. We believe that other patients and prospective patients should be aware of Dr. Hiester's policy, which we feel is unacceptable and suspicious.
