My wife went to this dentist for a cleaning and checkup not too long ago. She had never been there before but had a coupon for a teeth whitening kit with initial appointment. Now my wife takes very good care of her teeth so we were surprised to hear them tell her she needed a deep scaling procedure and had 5 cavities. We were floored when she was given a quote for over $700 dollars and was then told she couldn't have the kit until she had all the work done. To top it off, my insurance company pays for a checkup, x-rays and cleaning, not only did they bill us for the checkup they didn’t even clean her teeth. This prompted us to get another opinion.

Lo and behold we found out she had the beginnings of a single cavity and did not need a deep scaling at all. Her teeth were as healthy as we expected. They may have gotten a bit of money from the insurance company but with 3 kids and 2 adults they lost out on a long term customer. It’s amazing what people will do for money.
