VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE OWINGS MILLS OFFICE. I scheduled my first appointment for 1 pm today and arrived on time. After waiting for over 45 minutes, I was informed that the Dr.Schieken had NOT ARRIVED in the office as yet. I was told he was on his way and asked to wait. As a new patient, I expected the office staff to be courteous and let me know at 1pm or shortly after I arrived, that the doctor was running late. No one mentioned anything. One nurse forgot my appointment all together; as she mentioned that she told the doctor, his first appointment was at 1:45. I understand things happen and people run late, but to say nothing at all and have patients just wait for 45 minutes, is unacceptable. It shows no respect for the time of others. I was not the only person in the waiting area. I was very disappointed. I would NOT recommend any new patients to visit this office.
There was no annoying music playing while I waited or during my visit. I appreciated that they didn't have that typical elevator music on. I will definitely refer my friends and family here. They were great and I think more people should know about them. I had to wait for a little while after I arrived for my appointment, but I've had to wait longer at other places. I've never seen anyone who is more respected by their staff. The entire staff only had great things to say about working there, and it made me want to return all the more. I was worried that they were going to wear an obnoxious cologne, because I've dealt with that at other places, but they didn't even wear cologne. It was fantastic to be able to breathe freely the entire time.
