Some of the front desk staff are not friendly. No smile at all. Also, waited for more than 30 minutes to be seen. Not happy with the work that was done on my daughter. I think their recommendations of work to be done for my daughter were not necessary. I will be going to another dental office.

My niece had a dental appointment on August 20 and as we were leaving the dental office we witnessed such POOR customer service from the office manager and his staff with a patient. We didn't know what was going on but we know that the patient (Male) was very upset. My daughter and I felt very uncomfortable and to have witnessed such poor customer service, from what I observed and heard, the office manager did not listen to the gentlemen. The office manager was very defensive and continously was debating with the gentlemen not allowing him to express his concerns. That is HORRIBLE. Customer service is very important and part of that service is to listen to the customer and make every situation positive. In this case, it was the total opposite.

I feel very uncomfortable and wonder will Gentle Dental Mililani treat me and my family the same if we have an issue? I feel bad for the client, he should get his money back and never return.

This is NOT a good atmosphere and CUSTOMER SERVICE should be their #1 priority. I'm at a cross point if we should switch dental office for good.

I choose Gentle Dental in Mililani town center based on the convenience of location and clean looking waiting room. What a mistake. The first indication of poor service was the wait time to get an appointment. The earliest they had was 5 weeks away. Despite this initial warning, I decided to give them a try. I booked appointments for my daughter and wife. After my daughter came out of the exam room, the dental assistant said the check up went fine with just some minor follow up work needed. I had to wait another 20 minutes for the billing clerk to get to my chart and schedule another appointment. To my shock she said the ROOT CANAL would take two appointments. ROOT CANAL? That's not minor, and why wouldn't the dentist think this important enough to discuss with me personally? I demanded to discuss this with her, but during the 20 minute wait, she had already left for the day. A follow up call to her the next day resulted in an apology and an adequate explanation. However, the billing clerk had to rework the estimate of my insurance co-pay and was still unsure about several billing codes. When it came time for my wife's initial check up, we signed in, filled out forms and waited patiently while other patients went ahead of us. The receptionist was busy with dozens of charts, phone calls, chats with other office workers, etc., and did nothing to acknowledge our long wait. After 50 minutes, I finally approached and requested to know what's going on. She went to check and simply said the chart is on the queue. I demanded to know how much longer we'd have to wait. She went back and checked again and said it would be ANOTHER 30 minutes. She offered to reschedule (which I assume would be another 5 week wait), but I had enough. I promptly left and walked 5 minutes to another dentist that offered me an appointment 4 days from today. I can not attest to the quality of dental service of Gentle Dental, but I can confirm that their customer service is atrocious. They obviously have far too many patients and probably don't care that they have lost my business.

They examined them, but not very thoroughly
Did this dentist allow you to regularly rinse your mouth during your procedure?
No, it was almost unbearable

They were average

No, they were polite
