They had some music playing in the background here, but it didn't bother me much. It was pretty quiet. It was easy to get the appointment time that worked for my schedule, and when I need to change an appointment, it was very easy to accomadate. Any questions I ask, no matter how many, they answer pleasently and thouroughly. I never have a long wait time - maybe five minutes from sign in. The whole staff is friendly and personable.

Many years ago Dr. Crowe came in for the after-hygenist-cleaning and did something that surprised me so, that I was unable at the time to realize what is was that he did. He came in, tilted me back, said a few pleasantries and then began the exam. My teeth and gums have always been very healthy, so there wasn't much for him to look at. He left me in the head-down reclined position, got up and left the room. A few minutes later he returned with a probe in his had and said, "this is important" and then proceeded to stick my upper right gums, prick, prick, prick, prick, the 4 back teeth. I jerked with the pain as he did this very quickly and then said, "that's it - all done." I wondered why he had done this, but given the quickness of it and that he left the room again immediately after doing it, I was left with wondering if I should seek him out and ask what the hell he was doing, or just let it go. I let it go. The next morning I awoke with a screaming ear ache (I had never had an ear ache before this and it was so painful I had to seek emergency room care.) For a number of recurring years after that I had a similar problem. In subsequent years the gums of my upper right side have 'died' out and the roots exposed. I've had composite bonding done to all those teeth. To this day, I have wondered if the man just didn't like me or if he was 'sowing the seeds' for future business with my gums. I don't know, but it has made me very wary of trusting 'professional' people.
