I would recommend seeing doctors that are in a health system that are responsible caring people. This guy is an independent loose cannon and would probably rather be on the golf coarse.

My experience left me thinking I would have had better care at a clinic in the ghetto.

I would say you got a 50/50 chance of being treated with knowable care. The only good thing I can say good is I survived. I do not recommend this doctor.

Dr. Gerber had been my urologist for about 5 years. My family has a history of prostate cancer and so we were tracking my PSA level every 6 months.Last October it climbed to 4.3 and a biopsy confirmed cancer..My Gleason score was 6.Dr. Gerber told me that nerve sparing was not possible. This in light of 3 samples out of 12 were cancerous and less than 5% of those samples were affected.I sought a second opinion and located a Dr. who has done over 6,000 prostate surgeries and believes in nerve sparing if at all possible. He did my surgery and spared the nerves .That was 6 weeks ago.. a recent PSA was LESS than 0.1 and thanks to nerve sparing I am over 95% continent and expect to be sexually functional again. The moral is ALWAYS get a second opinion..BTW Dr. Gerber wants nothing to do with me now...
