I had several prenatal visits with Dr. Szela but decided to switch practices as quickly as possible after I was disrespected and talked down to during one of my final visits. The doctor was abrasive, uncaring, and in a rush the entire 20 minutes he saw me. He had zero regard for my desires related to the delivery of our child, and practically mocked me for having a birth plan. Also, the Buffalo Grove office in general is poorly organized in terms of scheduling, because I waited a minimum of 1 hour before I saw the doctor each time. I would never recommend Dr. Szela to anyone.
