i have had back problems the majority of my life, it landed me in the hospital a couple weeks ago, and I called to get the results of the MRI i took, and they called me back and REFUSED to give me the results even tho the doctor already reviewed them, forcing me to go and get the results from the hospital. Then I called them back about the appointment i had made and the woman at the front was EXTREMELY rude, i have never been treated like that by a doctors office in my life. People go to doctors because something wrong, and to get a really bad attitude from someone who is suppose to treat patients with respect is outrageous, and to TOP IT OFF the woman HUNG UP ON ME, ON PURPOSE. I would not recommend this doctor to ANYONE, I heard bad things about them, but I didnt want to believe it til i got the treatment first hand. HORRIBLE, and now im stuck in pain until I can get in to another neurosurgeon. VERY RUDE PEOPLE, DISRESPECTFUL, I WOULD NOT recommend anyone become a patient of this doctor.

Definitely! They staff spoke very highly of him/her

Not at all, they had plenty of staff members to help me whenever I needed assistance

Yes, they listen to all complaints and make every effort to correct the situation.

Every single time, even if it's been months since my last appointment!!

Dr. Dirks was a breath of fresh air for me! I had previously had a back surgery for a herniated disk by a nuerosugeon who was claimed to be "The Best" in our area. That surgeon was egotistical, arrogant and a real disappointment to me. He minimized and shrugged off my complication symptions,comments and concerns. I felt as though anything I asked was ignorant and unimportant. Three years later, with a cervical herniated disk and needing to have surgery, I found Dr. Dirks. Dr. Dirks is a young, progressive, competent, compassionate and highly skilled neurosuergon. He walked me through every phase, from diagnosis, alternative options, to recommended procedure, anticipated prognosis, and many other aspects of my condition. Dr. Dirks' follow-up was as if he were my assigned nurse following the surgery! Once moved from post-op to my room and somewhat alert, he was there to make sure I was comfortable, explain the procedure he had performed and answered any questions my husband and I had, and reassured me. I offer my highest accolades to this fine doctor and his skills....all around skills!
