I had bumps which I needed to have checked. I went to Dr. Taghechian for the first time (my regular OB GYN was unavailable). She immediately told me I had herpes, just upon inspecting my body. I told her my boyfriend (now husband) and I had blood STD tests and were both clean. She looked at me and inferred my now husband was a liar, and stared into my eyes as if I was naive and ignorant. I told her my STD test information was in their database, she checked as if she didn't believe my results for herpes had been negative before (only had been with my husband since the tests), and then said,"Oh okay, yeah your tests were negative, honey... Are you sure your boyfriend was tested? I don't know..." Her look was unreal--total judgement and a look of concern that my loving husband was lying to me about his STD status... I was taken aback at how bluntly she accused him of lying to me, when I had explained we were in a very serious relationship. I began crying, and she proceeded to tell me I needed to get on medicine I would have to take DAILY, and apply cream when I got an outbreak. I was crying still. THEN, this woman (who does not deserve the title of "lady"), told me any future children I may have would be only delivered by cesarean section. I have no plans of being a mother in at least 10 years--and I am appalled she was scaring me into this huge idea I would not be able to have a natural birth, it was overwheleming and heartbreaking--NOT TO MENTION we had no proof that I even had herpes at this point--and she's already called in prescriptions to my pharmacy...?! Over one week later, I am called and told they LOST MY BLOOD SAMPLE. Okay, it happens, I know--but really, how unprofessional can you get? I had to go back to the office, wait 23 minutes, and give another blood sample. This blood sample was taken by a nurse who bruised my arm so bad it hurt to lift it for a week, no kidding. And the bruise was visible for almost 9 days. Then another week passes (all the while I have no idea of my status) and Dr. Taghechian calls me to say "You have herpes, honey." I got tested at a different doctor, TWICE, and my test was negative. No professionalism, no courtesy, such a rude and sincerely mean person. Unreal. The stress of those two weeks wore me out so much, and for nothing.

I've never had to worry about them being understaffed or not being able to help me right when I need it. They have a huge staff that's very knowledgeable and qualified. They never left me for an extended period of time and I never felt ignored. They never have that typical, annoying music playing here. If they do play music it is soothing and appropriate for the setting. They go out of their way to make everyone feel equally respected and cared for. I've seen client favoritism at some of the other places I've been, and I really appreciate the extra effort they make to avoid that here.
