I'm not sure why this poll asks about the waiting room chairs. If the waiting room chairs were all that a doctor's office had to rely on for good reviews then they'd all be decent, I suppose.

First of all, I arrived THIRTY minutes early, as requested, to fill out the necessary paperwork as a new patient. The staff at the front were not particularly friendly, but I was given my paperwork and made to wait...and wait...and wait...

...an hour later, and after seeing three who arrived after I did go back before me, I was finally called to the back where my weight, height, and other vitals were taken. Then I sat in another room and waited...and waited...and waited...

...another hour later, I had enough and left. No one ever opened the door to see me - they had no idea if I was okay, passed out, or anything. Just left me by myself to wait and then it seemed as if they forgot about me.

I went to the front to inform the office staff that I was leaving and it was then that the office manager decided to go find out what the wait was. Oh, the excuses - a patient was suffering from kidney stones, we're short staffed, blah, blah, blah. But plain and simple CUSTOMER SERVICE and COMMON COURTESY would have allowed someone to just open the door to let me know that I was still in the appointment book.

Funny how if you're late for an appointment, or if you just don't show up you are charged a fee. Can I charge this doctor's office a fee for their poor customer service and for just fogetting about me??
