Very! I've never seen an employer treat their staff better

I would recommend them to people I know. They were able to help me a lot. I was very glad that they didn't leave me unattended during my consultation. I've been to some other psychiatrists that left me alone during my consultation, and I felt very ignored, but they didn't do that here. I love that I can count on them to work with me until they find a solution for my situation. Other places I've visited, seem to give up after they don't have an answer for me the first time, but not here.

I made an appointment with a different Dr. two weeks in advance because the regular Dr. (Mignone) was not to be available for over a month. I very specifically asked the secretary if this other Dr. would be legally able to prescribe the medication I needed, and she said “yes” several times. I waited my two weeks and went in to find that this Dr could in fact not make this prescription, yet could discuss the matter with the regular Dr -who was then currently at their other location-, and even have the written prescription sent to this location for me. I was fine with this. However, they called me three days later to tell me that I would have to reschedule an appointment because the other Dr. could not make these prescription. Yet they still charged me $100 for my last visit where nothing was accomplished and no services were provided. I asked the secretary about the soonest available opening, which was not before two more weeks. So I payed $100 to answer a few questions, and be delayed more than two weeks only to discover I am back where I started. The catch here, is that I am a previous patient and customer of Gulf Coast Health Care, 153 Center Rd, Venice, FL, specifically of Dr. Mignone, who was present when I called about this matter, but the office still refused to resolve the issue of the $100 and misinformation. I have been so frustrated by this experience that I will be escalating this complaint in all directions possible.
