We were looking for a doctor who would offer aggressive pain relief suitable for our 92 year old mother. Dr. Frey seemed to have the answer via a radiofrequency procedure. Problem: Dr. Frey's practice, however successful with patient outcome, is a factory that seems to continually run beyond capacity. The pressure to rush patients onto an assembly line for treatment stresses staff, patients and caregivers. More concern seems to be focused on mass production than on patients as individuals.

Dr Frey saw me for RSD (reflex sympathetic dystrophy) in my foot. I had been in severe pain for 18 months - other doctors seemed to just want to drug me. Dr. Frey actually cured me! He gave me a nerve block and a specially formulated cream to rub on the foot. I used to walk with a limp and could not walk for more than 15 minutes. Other doctors told me I would likely end up in a wheelchair. They were so wrong! I am so happy to write that after three treatments, I am completely in remission with no pain. A bit of PT to get my muscle tone back and I am fine. Bless Dr. Frey.

Dear Sir or Madam,
While I don't know who you are and can't answer your direct concerns specifically, we take great pride in the care we feel for our patients and provide for them. Our patients are our top priority, and we have no control over the insurance fee schedule. People think we charge more than we do; however, insurance companies can do what they want. We also don't control what a patient's out-of-pocket expenses are. Because we are a pain management clinic, it's standard procedure of our practice to drug screen all patients. This is for the protection of our patients and others. You will find this is a standard with most pain management clinics.

With that being said, we're sorry if our intentions were somehow misread and encourage you to call our office to clear up any misunderstanding that may have occurred.

This used to be a practice that cared abut its patients, it has now turned into an INSURANCE RUN Practice and it appears that they charge over the usual amounts for all procedures, right down to the bandaids. They are going to nickel and dime you as a patient. They charge you up front fees and you can be assured you will get another bill after your insurance has paid also. They also run a drug test that is a big fee to your insurance company, that you don't need. BEWARE of the fees.
