Both my husband and I have been pleased with our visits in the past. It’s been just a few years ago when we were in last. We saw the doctor directly. It seems now you aren’t going to see the doctor first. For any removal of skin tags and moles we were referred to the skin spa located in the same office. Were told you only see the doctor unless the practitioner suspects further treatment. And, our insurance no longer covers basic skin tag removals. We are curious to see how this new plan works.

Wow, definitely do not use this doctor for a dermatologist. I am a 69-year-old redheaded light-skinned person that grew up in the intense sun in Florida and have been going to dermatologists all over the world for 40 years. I had a suspicious spot on my left medial ankle of which a biopsy came back negative. Three months later I went back for my normal checkup and informed Nicole Raulerson (his nurse practitioner) that the site of the biopsy was not healing correctly. She excised and cauterize the area and sent another sample for a biopsy which came back allegedly with squamous cell carcinoma. Subsequently, after this visit, the area healed perfectly with no sign of any skin disruptions.
I then received a letter recommending that I have Mohs surgery. The letter berated me for not making an appointment to have this procedure done. This was after I had already informed his inadequate office staff that I had no intention of having the surgery and that I might consent to another biopsy to make sure that the squamous cell carcinoma was still there. The letter informed me “failure to follow up could result in discharge from the practice” and that “a copy of this letter will be placed in your permanent medical chart”. I found this letter as a scolding to a child.
I responded in a letter dated September 15, 2016 (one day after I received his letter) that I had no interest whatsoever in any type of surgery at this time but that I could consent to another biopsy to reaffirm their second biopsy. I also informed him that his letter was threatening and unprofessional.
On October 5, 2016, I went to my scheduled appointment to see Nicole Raulerson for my regular three month checkup at which time I intended to discuss with her the possibility of taking another biopsy. Upon my arrival in the examination room I was informed that I would be seeing Dr. Connors for a surgery that I had never scheduled. This doctor is the rudest person on the planet Earth. He incorrectly insisted that I had called and made an appointment for the operation and would not listen when I told him that I sent him a certified letter explaining that I would not be having the surgery but that a biopsy could be possible after consultation. I honestly believe he scheduled the operation against my wishes for monetary gain which is all too rampant within the dermatology field. I informed him as such, told him to check his records for my letter at which time he told me to find another doctor. I informed him that I would certainly be doing that.
This doctor is not motivated by consideration or the Hippocratic oath and should be avoided like the bubonic plague.

Removed a small mall off my face and left a big scar I followed instructions completely. I went back to the Doctor Who recommended him to me and I showed them the Mark they thought it was an awfully big scar themselves and they use this doctor on a regular basis. I told them I was very unhappy with this but to my dismay there's nothing that can be done about it now I was charged an incredible amount of money for this procedure which they did not have the door and called straightened out for when I left the office and never would return my calls when I continually called. Definitely definitely get a second opinion
