My appointment with this OBGYN went fine. It was worth the time. I feel pretty sure that my OBGYN will confer with other professionals if they think it would help me. I usually understand this OBGYN's answers to my questions when I'm not sure of something. The OBGYN's staff are friendly however, they rarely return calls and most of the time I have to take my mother to the office to get her questions answered. If she would of not gone in (March) to ask about her test results of Jan, she would of never none that she had to repeat them. It's sad because Dr. Angel Vega is a good doctor. I don't know if they are short in staff or what exactly is going on in the office. I really would like my mom to keep Dr. Vega, but if they continue not to answer phones , return calls or give test results on a timely manner, we will be force to change doctor.

The Doctor is wonderful but the office staff NEVER answers the phone. Throughout a whole day I tried calling them for a very important reason but nothing "life threatening" I tried calling all day long and always got the answering service, to which they told me to keep calling back, I tried calling the office "all day" and finally I got so upset with the answering service that they sent a faxed messge to the office to make sure I got a call back before they closed at 5, NEVER received a call back, this office has no idea what Patient Care is because they are not there for their patients when they need to be. This is just obsurd and ridiculous that his office staff would have their phones on forward the whole day so "normal" issues cannot be addressed. Well guess what my daughter had an issue with the Rx Dr. Vega wrote out for her Birth Control and since they did not answer the phone to fix the problem today, my daughter will be without her "preventative medicine" so therefor if she gets pregnant I BLAME this office. I just can't believe that a message was sent to their office via fax from their answering service and still they did not have the decency to call me back, WOW UNBELIEVABLE.......
