My appointment felt a little rushed. I understand that they are busy, but I would have liked a little more time. When I told them about my situation, they were somewhat understanding, but they could have been more caring. They didn't try very hard to understand where I was coming from. Don't call this provider if you're in a hurry. Every time I call I have to wait on hold forever. I think I got a gray hair the last time I was waiting.

Just a warning, they do not adhere to the customer is always right policy no matter what the situation is. They never listen to customers complaints and argue with them instead of trying to correct the situation. That's just bad business. I haven't seen any coupons or discounts for this provider's office, but I haven't really looked. They never mention anything about promotions when I'm there. They briefly listened to me, but quickly downplayed everything I said or stopped paying attention. I was able to relax during my appointment here. Everyone makes sure you are comfortable and at ease.

Appointment for 9-12-09. Girl at the front desk was amazingly rude from start. Asked me if I had blood work, to which I responded "No I'm here for a second opinion". She looked at me like I was a moron with her arms in the air, mouth open, and asked me how I knew my (suspected) condition. While it was none of her business, I pointed out that I had saliva test done by another doctor that indicated my low cortisol and was here for a second opinion. (Somebody may want to point out to her that people come to doctors to have extensive tests done, so they can figure out what is wrong with them.) I understood the test I had prior was not necessarily conventional and THAT is why I was there in the first place. I needed to see an endocrinologist who could be as thorough as possible, so we could figure out what was wrong with me. Her questioning was abrupt, rude, immature, made me feel uncomfortable and completely unprofessional.

Then I was asked for my copayment, and produced a card. She rudely told me (again, please learn some fundamental courtesy when dealing with the public) that the particular card was not accepted. MC/V only she said. I took this as an opportunity to just cancel the appointment. I don't have a problem with not accepting certain cards, it happens all the time, but it was her attitude that was the problem.

I've got a thick skin, understand people have bad days etc. But there is NO EXCUSE for somebody to talk to a patient that way. Not to mention a patient who has been sick for months. Please retrain your office staff, or at the very least fire that girl.

As stated before, I never got past the front desk. So obviously the rating is for the office staff only.
