I can't believe some of the negative comments that were written about Dr. Silfen ...I found him to be considerate, caring and nothing more than professional.. His staff was kind enough to get me an appointment as soon as possible...I am a snow bird and did not have a doctor here in Florida...I can't speak highly enough about his staff...I don't know if these people saw the same doctor that I did!!!!! I wouldn't think twice about recommending Dr Silfen to everyone I know...Thank you to the office staff , nurses and Dr. Silfen ...I'm so glad that I overlooked the comments I read

No, I had to pay for parking!

Very poor bedside manners.
Makes you feel very uncomfortable during physical exam with no sensitivity -- and I have been to many male OB GYN all of whom treat your body with respect, including, but not limited to keeping it partially covered during examination. Not this doctor, who proceeds to touch and examine without the least sense of decency and permission.

And it does not help that, as other reviewers have noted and I now find out only now, the doctor and his office is pushy and pressures you to pay for things and diagnostic codes to inflate the bill.

On my personal experience alone, I would highly NOT recommend the doctor.

PS I'd ignore the sugary reviews.. they appear to be ghostwritten.. no reasonable reviewer would write as such.

First I want to start off by saying I do not understand how people say these things about Dr. Silfen. Dr Silfen has delivered both of my children and I can not say enough about this man and his entire staff. After my first pregnancy I had the best experience with him. I needed a csection and he took all my anxiety away and made the whole thing very positive and calming. My second child was just born and this pregnancy was much more difficult. I was hospitalized for quite a while and every single day dr Silfen would come and see me and ease my fears and worries. He also allowed me to have a VBAC. It is very rare to find a dr that will do those. When I was in the hospital he even stayed in for me when he was suppose to attend a lose family members wedding because i was so nervous i was going to go into labor that weekend. This man is not only an amazingly smart doctor but truly cares about his patients. A lot of OB's run a "business" but I really believe that dr Silfen does this job because he genuinely concerned with not only your well being but your personal needs with your pregnancy. I would HIGHLY recommend dr Silfen if you want the best care out there.

They ignored my questions and my appointment seemed rushed. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed. Not only all of the above but he mis diagnosed so many people causing one her life. He also changes medical records but is very good at covering his tracks!!!!! Many have tried to expose him but his wife is a lawyer and knows all the tricks. He is a heartless money hungry pig!
