She was not my doctor. My luck, my water broke a week early and my doctor was not on duty. Everyone, dreams of having a great birthing experience especially with their first child...I did not! First of all, I will never ever go to Wellington Regional ever again. The Labor and Delivery department, was less then impressive. While in labor and in pain, they had several different nurses, changing shifts coming in and out asking me the same questions over and over. This doctor, came in for 10 mins, didn't really introduce herself, seemed upset she was called in, mumbled something to the nurses and I didn't see her until the next morning, where she started preparing for a c-section without even telling me. When I asked questions, she was very abrupt, we need to get the baby out.....didn't really answer anything. My husband reminded the nurses and the doctor several times that we wanted to preserve the cord blood. It was part of our birthing plan, they all agreed several times; in fact at one point they basically told him to shut up and that they remembered. They took me in, talked about dinner and vacation during my c-section, wouldn't let my husband take one picture. He didn't cut the umbilical cord, they rushed him out........when all was done and I was in the room. The doctor showed up about 30 mins later. My husband asked about the cord blood, just because he wanted to make sure everything was okay; the doctor verbatim said "oh s***" and said she forgot, rushed to the operating room with a nurse and tried to salvage it from the garbage. Needless to say the specimen was discarded at the lab, for poor collection. A whole week after the c-section, I was double over in pain, not realizing this poor excuse for a doctor left the placenta inside of me....MY original doctor thankfully took over at this point........most horrible experience of my life!!!!!!

I was confident that they were using the latest treatment methods. The staff really knows what they're doing, and they know a lot about the company they work for. They're able to answer most of my questions, and the only ones they don't are the ones they need their boss's approval for. I haven't seen any coupons or discounts for this provider's office, but I haven't really looked. They never mention anything about promotions when I'm there. I felt very safe in their care. I definitely trust them. It was so nice to arrive and see many fully qualified staff members. I've gone to some places that were very understaffed and I've never had a good experience. This place had a great staff though, and I'll definitely be going back.

All the time! the waiting rooms are always packed and It seems as if they are more concerned about quantity over quality

I will definitely refer my friends and family here. They were great and I think more people should know about them. They've never dismissed any of my concerns as unimportant, and take every concern of mine very seriously. I love that I can count on them to work with me until they find a solution for my situation. Other places I've visited, seem to give up after they don't have an answer for me the first time, but not here. I got an appointment quickly. I've never had to wait too long.
