I went to Dr. Starke's office for a check up and her assistant decided I didn't need a check up so she didn't do anything. We spoke about some issues, which she admitted didn't know much about so she referred me to another doctor. I just received a bill from Dr. Starke's office. I called and they said they billed my insurance as a regular consult, which my insurance doesn't cover. I said I made the appointment for a check up and the doctor decided not to do it. They blamed it on me stating that I should have known I didn't need one. They are charging me for the visit even though I didn't get the check up and the only thing I got was a referral. They saw the papers I completed when I checked in and they could have told me that it was too soon and I wouldn't get a check up. They allowed me to "consult" the doctor only because they wanted to charge money and don't lose the appointment. LACK OF COMPLETE CONSIDERATION AND VERY SHADY!!!

The Doctor's office is great, clean and on a very accessible street, staff is friendly enough and wait time isn't bad. Dr.Starke was accurate on her final diagnosis. Would I go back? Not sure because she was rude, dismissive and condescending. Everytime I asked a question she looked annoyed because I needed some extra explanation, beware if you need her after hours or need a prescription filled, she answers the phone very rudely, her bedside manners leave a lot to wish for, she was mean to her staff, and made me feel bad about my weight, she commented on it to her P.A while I was trying to book another appointment.
