VERY UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES. Told us they accept our BCBS Insurance before the visit but after the visit they have a problem filing the claim and Demands $395.00 payment. We filed the claim and was told by the insurance company that they paid doctor $102.56 and we owed doctor $34.12. After numerous attempts to recover the over-payment including two conference calls with BCBS and the Dr.’s accountant and claims by the Dr.’s accountant that they would resolve the issue when they were paid, after the second conference call the Dr.’s accountant state they would not reimburse us because they did not charge us enough and were going to file a revised claim. That never did happen. After filing a complaint with the BBB, Dr. Chan responded by stating we were a cash customer and he does not have to accept the insurance company rate and advised us to have the insure company reimburse us.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING THIS DOCTOR

Absolutely terrible. The office is a joke. They overcharge and don't actually do anything clinical. I don't know how they stay afloat. Rude staff, rude doctor. DO NOT GO TO HIS CLINIC unless you want to be ripped off for incompetent medical care (if you can even call it medical care). Yearly physical consisted of sitting with the doctor for less than 5 mins, being asked maybe 5 questions, no height, no weight, no labs, no clinical practice but you better believe they charged $80 before you could leave, even if you have insurance. STAY FAR AWAY.

I did not have any trouble finding this office. It is in Oviedo, a very nice and safe town; the office is on an open main road. I walked in without an appointment one time. The staff member explained that I will be able to be seen as long as I have patience to wait because those with appointments will be seen first.

Been seen here for more than 5 years and have never had any issues with the doctor or staff. Dr. Chan is a calm, well tempered, and thorough individual. He is first and foremost a doctor and he goes right into the reason at hand. I actually prefer a physician who treats patient and not become a "friend."

The only time I witness any rudeness was when this woman did not get the "drugs" that she wanted. She also did not want to pay.

Dr. Chan is a jerk. It was my 1st time there he didn't even introduce himself and was soooo rude. He touched my throat to feel my tonsils he then wiped his hand off on my shoulder on my blouse because it apparently discusted him to touch me. I went there looking for a family dr. and left so mad and unsatisfied. I will definetly never go there again and will never recommend anyone to go see him.
