Have been a patient of Dr. Buchanan's for several years. In the past 6 months I have been in the office several times for hip pain. Physical therapy was ordered as it was being addressed as sciatica. There was no improvement in my symptoms, only increasing pain. I was referred to pain management clinic on a Thursday. With no response I contacted the pain management clinic the following Tuesday only to be informed they had not received the referral. I called Dr. Buchanan's office and they refaxed the order, pain management clinic contacted me and set up an appointment. My huge issue is that during all this time, pain relief was never discussed by Dr. Buchanan and pain medication request was denied when I could no longer deal with the pain and requested something (anything!) AFTER the pain management referral was re-faxed. Either Dr. Buchanan has been blessed to NEVER have experienced pain, or must feel that her patient's should have their pain managed else where. I feel so let down by this turn of events that I am now in the process of looking for a different physician.

One of the finest physicians one could find. One of the very few who can be trusted and is primarily focused on the care of their patients and not their bank accounts.

Not one bit! I felt much better when I left!

Absolutely! They aren't arrogant at all and are more than willing to pursue advice when necessary
