My experience here was terrible. The office staff was rude, insisting that I pay the office visit in full - including any tests needed- at the time of service. I explained that my copay for specialists is $35 but they kept telling me that since my deductible was not met they would not receive payment. (I was correct, they now owe me $126; my obligation was only $35). It has been a month since they received payment but they have not reimbursed me yet! The exam by Dr. Sugar was also subpar. He is condescending and does not listen very well. It was clear that he just wanted to move on to the next patient. I will never go there again and I will certainly tell my primary care doctor about my experience in an effort to have Dr. Sugar taken off of the recommended list of ENT doctors/offices.
I was a little disappointed at how unhelpful the staff was when I called with my questions and concerns. They definitely could have been more polite. I can't really say they are the friendliest doctor I've met. They didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. My appointment was interrupted three times by staff, and a few times when the doctor's cell phone rang. I was also pretty unimpressed with their phone etiquette.
