She misdiagnosed me. Not atrociously, but it was definitely a misdiagnosis that has since been more appropriately labeled.

I was a little disappointed with how hard it was to schedule the first meeting. Then I was told the doctor i had seen for ten years had misdiagnosed me. I had to wait a long time in the waiting room with no apology for a twenty minute wait. I did not appreciate that when I asked questions about the treatment she appeared to be put out like i should just take her word for it. She didn't take the time to explain my diagnoses or her suggested treatment's risks and benefits. I had to do my own research and when I came back with questions she told me not to believe everything i read. I was told the doctor I saw previously was charging too much and she then proceeded to charge me more.

Prior to seeing this doctor, I had been 'misdiagnosed'. Dr. Brown's expertise in psychopharmacology is why I chose to see her. She works very hard for her patients and I feel she cares very much about her patients' well being. Since working with Dr. Brown, who has changed all my meds and tweaked them, I feel like a new person! I truly don't know where I would be if it weren't for her help!
