I’ve been a patient of Dr. Berv for over 20 years. I would characterize him as extremely intelligent, compassionate and very insightful on the multitude of issues he has addressed on my behalf. I have the utmost respect for how directly he responds to questions and concerns I’ve presented him over the years. His widespread knowledge and experience is unique. I can’t thank him enough for the major impact he has had on my life.

I have been a patient of Dr. Berv's for 12 years he is a great doctor. Thanks to Dr. Berv my attention deficit disorder is under control and i can live a normal life.

I have been seeing Dr. Berv for almost 4 years. I am amazed at what he has done for me. I suffer from Depression, Anxiety, ADD and am Bipolar. Dr. Berv was attentive to all my ailments and through medication and counseling was able to bring me around to having a "normal" life. Thank you Dr. Berv.

Good listener, gives very sage advice, excellent diagnostic skills. Maintains a close eye on patients and how they respond to treatment, as well as how they care for themselves physically and mentally. Been with him for twenty years strong. No complaints, no doubts. Cannot recommend him highly enough.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Berve’s for 10 years. Besides being brilliant, he listens, doesn’t rush, explains things well and answers any questions I have. I am in such a good place and am grateful to have a Dr who really cares about his patient’s outcomes. He’s direct and I respect that. He treated my husband also and was instrumental in helping me during my grieving process when he suddenly passed away. I would highly recommend him to anyone without hesitation. Prior to COVID I drove 4 hrs to see him, he’s that good!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Berv’s for over 10 years. He is a calm, thoughtful and caring doctor who has been of great help to me and others in my family. He takes the time to listen and asks great questions to get to the heart of an issue and explains why his prescribing certain medications. His diagnostic skills are excellent. We had a situation with a family member who was misdiagnosed at Yale New Haven Hospital and was not doing well on the medication they prescribed. Dr. Berv diagnosed differently and got them on the right medication and they have been doing very well ever since. We are very grateful for all that Dr. Berv has done for my family and I highly recommend him.

Dr Berv did what no other mental health provider did for me in the past and that is diagnose me correctly and treat me accordingly. The guy saved my life and I am forever grateful.

Dr. Berv is a phenomenal psychiatrist. I have been seeing him for over a year now and it was the best decision I made to be a part of his practice. Everyone is so nice at the office and always willing to help out when needed whether its to schedule an appointment or to solve and issue. The whole environment there is very relaxing and makes you feel right at home. Dr. Berv makes a great effort to get to know you on a deeper level to make sure that you are properly diagnosed. I knew walking in that I had generalized anxiety disorder; however, there was a part of me that was still off. Dr. Berv diagnosed me with a mood disorder and opened my eyes to a whole new world. Mood disorder is relatively new, and it takes mood stabilizers in order to be treated unlike many other doctors had prescribed me with anti-depressants. I have the utmost trust for Dr. Berv and know that He cares and wants you to feel better. It took almost a year to get the correct combination of medications for me, but Dr. Berv always reminded me to trust the process. Each visit, I would feel better and closer to finding the perfect combination. I would highly recommend Dr. Berv to anyone who suffers from any kind of mental illness, his treatment has saved my life!
