I had a terrible experience with this doctor. First of all, the office felt like it was last updated in 1970. They do not have any frames at the office at all. After a quick, impersonal exam he sent me on my way. I wear contacts a lot of the time and he didn't even address them/ give me a new prescription. My glasses prescription ended up being wrong. When I called to tell them this, the receptionist was so rude I ended up switching doctors.

Dr. Kauvar was very impersonal; barely gave me eye contact and did not seem to care if I was there or not. The tone in his voice was almost condescending and it felt like the exam was rushed, even though I saw no ome else waiting. Also, gave me the wrong diagnosis for my problem - which I confirmed with a second opinion from another Ophthalmologist the next week.
