I had open distal roux-n-y gastric bypass by Dr Sanderfer in 2001. I feel he was extremely negligent. I had a severe infection that required visiting nurses to come out several times weekly. On the day that my infection became apparent, I tried all day and night to get in touch with him but never got an answer. I finally went to see my PCP. On many occasions, I showed up for my appointment only to be told that he wasn't there. This was extremely dangerous as I would cancel visiting nurses because I knew the doctor would be dressing my wounds however nobody there would dress my wound. Not his when you are fighting a bad infection. The after care was dreadful. After a year, I was just told that I was done and didn't need to be seen anymore. I'm sorry but this kind of surgery should be followed up on for life. I'm one of the lucky ones that survived but many others didn't.

I always have the best experience every time I have an appointment here. Although I have not had much to complain about, I have noticed that they strongly adhere to the customer is always right policy and if anything goes wrong make every effort to correct the situation. They go out of their way to make everyone feel equally respected and cared for. I've seen client favoritism at some of the other places I've been, and I really appreciate the extra effort they make to avoid that here. I felt that they really valued my health and happiness because they followed up even after my appointment just to check up on me. It was such a nice gesture that made a huge difference. One of the first things I noticed about this business was how many different areas of the building were handicap-accessible. I have been to other places where I couldn't tell how someone in a wheelchair could even enter, but they really spent a lot of time to accommodate people with all different needs. I really liked that they took the time to explain my treatment's risks and benefits thoroughly. I was able to make a much more informed decision.

Absolutely Not!

Absolutely not! I constantly have to repeat and re-explain my situation!

Never. I don't think they care about helping their clients save money
Does this provider promptly return your phone calls?
Absolutely not! My phone calls aren't returned at all!
