They didn't show any sort of attention to detail, which I think is very important. Their staff was not organized and left me waiting for over an hour before explaining the convoluted way their check in system worked. I waited 1 1/2 hours the first visit, 45 minutes the next and the final visit they told me the wait would be another hour and 1/2. At that time I cancelled my appointment. They could have called me to tell me of the delays. They waisted my precious time. I never saw the doctor but was assigned a nurse practicioner. She did not give me the right medications to try as explained to me when I found another doctor after leaving this frustrating and time waisting experience. They didn't tell me very much about my treatment's risks and benefits. I still felt like I had to do my own research. I cannot recommend this doctor or his staff.

I've seen Dr. Billett for a number of years and trust him completely. He works with me, provides extensive information on medication and treatment options. His genuine compassion, sense of humor and reassuring presence allow me to always leave his office feeling better than when I got there. His office staff person is always kind, courteous, and professional.

I saw a review here where someone complained about the lack of "therapy" and amount of time spent with the doctor. This patient may not have understood that Dr. Billett does not provide "talk therapy."

I was shocked after reading that glowing review on this site "from a patient" of Dr. Billett! He barely made eye contact with me, let alone provide therapy during the months I saw him. I was given medication after medication, never had anything explained to me. If I ever asked questions, they were ignored. I was rushed in and out of his office in under 20 minutes each time. His office is very nice, but Dr. Billett and his secretary are cold and indifferent. Save your money and go elsewhere!

During the time that I have been treated by Dr. Billett for post-traumatic stress disorder, he has been a superlative physician in every way. He actively advocated for me with my employer, responds immediately to faxes from the pharmacy, gives detailed explanations about how medications work and what the drawbacks are of specific medications. He is a skilled and compassionate therapist with an empathetic and respectful attitude towards patients. Dr. Billett also keeps up to the minute on new studies, treatments and medications and keeps me informed about these, so that I am always in the driver's seat in terms of making choices about what treatments I am receiving. On top of all of that, he has a great sense of humor and has a very comfortable and comforting presence.
