Chronically late (running 30 minutes late for a 50 min appt.) -- didn't show up once or twice.

The sessions were very awkward because she talked very little (there were long awkward silences). I have no idea why she did this or what kind of therapy that it was supposed to be (looking back, I should have asked her but I was too sick to think clearly).

She pushed DBT and meditation very hard for a very long time, even when it was clear it wasn't working. When I asked what more I could be doing she just kept saying to try meditation. I made it clear I didn't find that it was alleviating my symptoms. I also could not do the program she kept pushing because it was 45 minutes away and would have required that I leave work 2 hours early.

I was desperate for her to try some other tool like a new medicine but it was over a year before she did. Within two weeks of starting the new med I saw an approximately 70% reduction in my symptoms and I was able to function much better. I wish she had tried that treatment sooner instead of pushing a treatment that didn't work for me for over a year.

Because her therapy wasn't helpful I saw a mental health social worker for a few months simultaneously for CBT, hoping he could fill in the therapeutic gap while she handled meds. He updated her about my lack of progress, the severity of my condition, and told her he thought I needed additional medication for therapy to work. All she did was up the dose of a med I had been one for years and it didn't do anything.

Once on the new med I became more functional and had the bandwidth to look for a new doc. I called to have my medical records transferred but I never heard back.

All in all, not very helpful -- No help with insurance. No referral for a second opinion when I didn't improve. She seemed bored during sessions.

I really liked they took the time to explain my treatment's risks and benefits clearly. They made sure that I understood everything before I started treatment. Getting an appointment with them couldn't be easier. They're always able to give me the appointment time that works for me, and I never have to worry about taking off work or trying to squeeze it in my busy schedule. Not only do they never postpone my appointment, they always try to get me in as soon as possible. I love that I can always get an appointment right away, and I never have to worry about them rescheduling it. It was so nice to arrive and see many fully qualified staff members. I've gone to some places that were very understaffed and I've never had a good experience. This place had a great staff though, and I'll definitely be going back.

Not really, it wasn't very clean

Not only did she help me, she went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. She helped me to deal with very difficult stressors at work. I learned how to not only feel less anxious, she helped me to improve my self-esteem. I was able to learn how to be a leader and be more effective interpersonally with my co-workers. I got therapy for my anxiety and panic symptoms as well as management coaching. She told me early on in treatment that she wanted me to not only feel better but be more effective than I ever had been. She definitely accomplished that goal! She is an absolute expert in the field.

I love how attentive and supportive she is. It makes me feel valued. She helped me to understand myself and my family better. She also helped me to improve my self-esteem. She is an absolute expert in her field. I felt I received exceptional care. Every time I come here I leave feeling better!
