I remember visiting this doctor a year ago. During my visit he belittled my situation and made me feel insignificant. The next day I checked in into an inpatient psychiatric ward because of the way he belittled my situation. I felt as if a medical professional would help me in my situation but if anything he made it worse. I would highly recommend avoiding this doctor.

He was OK. A somewhat perspective psycho. Interesting guy to talk to.

I met with Dr. Marc Charles December 2012 for a medical evaluation. This was requested from Sedgwick our disability management company. This was a one time visit.

I was given pages of paperwork to complete and before I could finish, I was asked to go into Dr. Charles office. He started the medical examination by asking me “what brings you here?” I asked him if he wanted to hear from the beginning or did he already read my situation from my paperwork. He said he did but wanted me to go over it from the beginning. As I started to tell him my situation at work and how I felt I was being treated, he put his hands out and tells me to “stop!” He continued with saying I was confusing him and he’ll ask the questions going forward. He did not give me a chance to speak about my situation or how it has affected me, medically and physically. He lessened the importance of how I was currently feeling and how this situation at work has affected my entire life, not only with family but also with friends. How I can’t leave my house or get up in the morning or sleep at night. He completely minimized my condition and kept telling me he thinks I’m ready to go back to work. He used profanity and analogies that had me speechless and shaken, especially when he made fun of my faith. I have never had a doctor care so little or not show any support to what I’ve been going through. He was impolite and very unprofessional. He wasbeing judgemental and intimidating and I just shut down. I am not sure why he was so arrogant or uncaring; I thought maybe I was being tested? I was very frustrated and confused about what had just taken place. He wouldn’t let me speak or listen to how I feel or what I’m going through. He just read the questions on the form.

I have always been polite and courteous to each and every person in the medical field; however I feel this type of behavior on the doctor’s part is completely unwarranted and unethical for persons in any professional setting, especially in health care.

I rated him 0.5 of a Star, and that’s because he has an office!!!

Worst medical experience in my entire life!!! By the way the medical part of the appointment was he weighed me!??
