I had back surgery and a rod put in my back. I was sent home infected 3 days later l was back at the hospital. After 2 months in the hospital l went home. 5 months later l got infected again spent 1 month in the hospital went home. 4 months later l got staff infection again spent 1 month in hospital. Went home 1month latter l was infected again.went to hospital this time he decided to take out the rod.I spent 31 days in the hospital. After all the he'll I went through dr patrick would give me plenty of pain meds in the hospital but soon as I went home it was cut down to very little,I suffered most of the time he tried to make me out to be a drug addict.After all that, his assistant Janet told me to find a primary dr. that dr. Patrick would not have to see me no more. Sence then l have no good life.I'm in pain all the time.I think he wanted to get rid of me because l was a mistake that would make him look bad. I think you butchered me and as I get closer to death,if l can come back to haunt you dr. Patrick l will.

Dr Patrick operated on my husbands back following a ski accident several years ago. I can not say enough about his dedication, skills as a surgeon and his interaction with my husband and I during and following the surgery. As a lifelong patient of the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN I can honestly say I have never received service like Dr. Patrick's outside of the MN clinic. My husband is doing well and enjoying a full range of activities that other surgeons we consulted prior to seeing Dr. Patrick told us would be impossible.

Dr. Patrick and his staff paid close attention to me and absolutely ALL of my questions were answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. Dr. Patrick had to reconstruct my neck after a fusion done by another Doctor "slipped" out of place, inmpinged on my spinal canal and left me in a constant pain range of 8-10! Dr. Patrick SAVED MY LIFE. That is NOT an exaggeration. Multiple surgeons turned down the request of "fixing" my neck. They determined it far to complicated and dangerous a surgery. Dr. Patrick took on the challenge confidently and help me to trust him. Myself and my family are indebted to this man forever. He is an EXTRAORDINARILY TALENTED AND COMPASSIONATE Surgeon. I love him dearly.

I usually have to wait on hold for quite a while, but not as long as some other places

Dr. Patrick always takes the time to listen to me. I know he really cares about me and what I have to say. I knew I was getting top-of-the-line treatment when he explained my condition and treatment plans, newest innovations in spinal care and how he would incorporate that knowledge into the practice. Dr. Patrick has some of the best bed side manner and compassion I have ever seen. Putting his patients first is definitely a priority here and it shows. His assistant however does not return calls and has been difficult to reach as she has not returned our calls. I would return to his care immediately if he were to return to California to see patients again.
