Dr. Lasting changed my view of male doctors. As a result of some strange experience I had when I was young, I had an aversion to male doctors. I found myself 36 weeks pregnant and in the middle of an insurance nightmare when I was provided new insurance that required a change in doctors. My female doctor recommended Dr. Lasting and I am so happy she did. He has been in practice for 25+ years and it is no wonder people in the field speak so highly of him. From the moment my husband and I met him, we were comforted that he would be delivering our baby. He is extremely knowledgeable and takes his time with each patient. That was very important to us, we wanted someone who guided us through childbirth and explained what we were experiencing clearly. That is exactly what Dr. Lasting did. His staff is comforting, friendly and knowledgeable, as well. The experience is always enjoyable and I never come away with unanswered questions. My delivery was not the easiest experience but we felt safe in Dr. Lasting's capable care. I have, and will continue to, recommend Dr. Lasting to anyone who needs a fantastic OB/GYN. In fact, if we decide to have another baby, we would only see him and if he ever retires the industry will have lost one of its great doctors. He's one of a kind. Go see him! :)

Does this provider treat their staff well?
Not at all. I felt terrible for all the staff members

Not at all. They closed early even though they knew I needed help
Did you have to wait long after you arrived for your appointment?
Yes, I had to wait forever.
Did this provider ever postpone your appointment?
All the time, and they usually don't notify me until right before my scheduled appointment
Did this provider seem well-trained and experienced?
Not at all, it seemed like they started yesterday

Wait was long. Doc rushed me. Took forever to get my records. Office old and outdated. Staff not pleasant...probably because they aren't treated well. Easy to hear other patients in other rooms. Doc acted like he knew what he was doing but lagged on getting me results and seemed like he was giving me the run around. Things take forever: visits, rx refills, ultrasound machine looks ancient. Overcharged me. Never going back.

Yes, you will have to wait a bit to see the doctor. He has been my OB/GYN for over 20 years. Things happen and sometimes yes, he has to go over to the hospital and deliver a baby. This would throw off anyones schedule. He is always willing to help and takes your concerns seriously. What else would anyone want from a doctor? Just know that there are times you will wait an hour to be seen. I think it is part of the job, people have babies and I would rather wait for a good, caring doctor than one that will not listen to my concerns or questions.
