I've been seeing Dr. Hansen for nearly twenty years for MS. She is amazing, and always goes beyond the call of duty. I've done a lot of natural healing as well, and even when she thought some of my roads were crazy, she was supportive and said as long as it wasn't hurting me. Very few neurologists get MS as well as she does, and I'm so grateful for her longterm care. It's done so much to keep me upright.

Dr Hansen was a lifesaver for me and I strongly recommend her!!! I went from doctor to doctor over a period of about 10 years, having test after test to try to determine why I kept having horrible, debilletating dizzy spells that would come on rapidly out of the blue. No one could figure it out and I was finally sent to a psychiatrist and counseling. I was getting afraid to even leave my house. Then I met Dr. Hansen who figured it out right away and fixed me up immediately with a tiny little pill! I've never had a problem since and now have a normal life again. I feel that I owe her my life!! She is the best!!

Dr. Hansen saved my life. I was misdiagnosed for 1 1/2 years with MS. My condition got more and more severe. Eventually, the experts at UCSF told me that I did not have MS; did not know what I had and pointed me to an ENT who told me I was stressed. At that point, I was barely able to walk, my tremors were intense, I had fireworks in the brain, and suffered from both vertigo and light headedness. Little did I know I was nearing a massive stroke. In 1 hour, Dr. Hansen told me I didn't have MS, spent 3 weeks analyzing my blood, lined up with Dr. Kogelnik, an amazing infectious disease doctor. I had a brain/nervous system bacterial infection. It is extremely rare, only a few cases seen to date. It is now 7 months since an intense antibiotic treatment. I'm so much better, and getting better every day. There hasn't been a day that has gone by without Dr. Hansen leading me back to health. THANK YOU Dr. Hansen. You saved me. There aren't enough stars in the sky worthy of your incredible expertise and bed-side manner.
