Dr Byers is a true Professional! Has been my Dr for over 20 years. Whether it's a office visit for a cold or a stay in the hospital he cares. He checked in on me at Cottage Hospital at 7 am everyday I was in. The staff which is newer is doing a great job. I get call backs on RXs and visits are on time. The PA in office is Jenny Hoyt and she is also terrific!

I had a major thyroid problem in 2010 and Byers always sent me to Lab West, Pueblo St., SB, CA for blood work. I was going from Hyper to Hypo in a matter of hours. The problem was he never gave me the result, made another appointment and the same routine would start. In Dec. of 2010 I had an appointment with him and he sent me for an X-ray. Later that evening he called to tell me I had cancer and that he already called Dr. Kupperman;s office and they would be in touch with me. He wished me luck in fighting the cancer and said there are many therapies available today that ma =y help. I said what about the Thyroid He said when I felt better go to Lab West for blood work. Dr. Kupperman did many tests and whatever was there was surrounded by good granolas. On April 27, 2011 I slipped off a stool in my kitchen and landed on my behind. My guests helped me up and they knew about the thyroid problem and we surmised it was the problem that caused me to fall. The next day I collapsed on my garage floor at 6 AM. I was going to move my car because contractors were coming to seal my driveway very early and I needed to leave the car in the driveway for about 3 days. When I rose I did not realize what happened to my mouth or that blood was leaking down on me. I had an appt wi†h Byers that AM and rather than go to the ER (my first mistake) I saw him. He told me no problem- The mouth will heal and the blood from the head is trauma. It took him 15 days to send me for an MRI and X-ray. It is now August 11, 2015 and I have spent over 50,000 dollars on my teeth and trying to correct this problem. His comment to me "What else do you want? I found it didn't I?" and his other comment was "Sue me." knowing full well you can't in California. The man is below par and the worst practitioner you could ever meet. The medical board wrote me and told me he was evaluated by a peer of his and that peer agreed with Byers conclusions! What a farce! They deserve each other and should be hung up in town square and feathered and tarred.

As soon as I walked through the door, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. They went out of their way to make me feel special and appreciated. I love how much attention to detail they show. They are always so careful and meticulous. I never have to worry about them making a mistake or forgetting something. They always make sure to return my phone call as soon as possible. They've never left me waiting. I'm always amazed at how considerate and concerned they are for my well-being. Their advice is always wonderful and completely unbiased. They were absolutely amazing and make others in the same field look like beginners.

I was glad that they were located in a safe neighborhood. I've been to some other places where I was scared to get out of my car but not here. They were easy to reach in an emergency. When I called they answered right away and I was so relieved to hear a friendly voice. It was nice to hear how much the staff respected them. It made me that much more confident that I was under the care of a professional. The staff was very helpful no matter how many times I called with a question or concern. They never made me feel uncomfortable for asking any question.
