I went to Dr. Slayback for breast augmentation. Within 3 months the implant leaked. The manufacturer paid for the implant replacement but I still had to pay for the hospital costs. After the replacement I was in more pain than the original surgery and horrible bruising. Another 2 years later I had capsular contracture. This time the cost both to Dr. Slayback and the hospital fees. Another 3 years the same problem capsular contracture. I discovered the pocket was made too big for the implants and now had to pay for an implant revision. This time the board certified plastic surgeon used strattise and corrected the problem. Would not recommend this doctor. Strattise has been on the market for years. Dr. Slayback should have realized his error when he replaced the leaking implant. I feel very disgusted with his office and lack of concern for my welfare.

I can't say anything that will have reprocussions but I strongly urge you to shop before going to this surgeon. Be wary of any doctor that dodges your questions and accuses you of 'Unrealistic Expectations' when you ask to see pictures of his work.These signs are exactly what they look like -Signs of A doctor defending his botched work.
